We want to share an update regarding today’s phone outage at South Hills Middle School. Earlier today, a fiber optic cable on a property under construction in our neighborhood was damaged. As a result, our phone system went down. We are happy to report that repair crews are making steady progress, and the system is expected to be fully restored before school begins tomorrow morning.
While today’s outage was outside our control, we appreciate your patience as we worked through the situation. During the interruption, the TFSD District Office served as our relay point to ensure we could continue communicating as needed, and we are grateful for everyone’s understanding and cooperation.

We want to let you know that a fiber optic cable near the school was cut earlier today, which has temporarily taken down our phone service. Classes are continuing as normal, and students are safe.
If you have an emergency need to reach the school, please call the District Office at 208-733-6900, and we will relay your message to South Hills Middle School.
