The Twin Falls School District Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Issac Goodrich as the new associate principal at South Hills Middle School. The new administrative hire was approved at a board meeting Monday, June 8, 2020.
Goodrich has been in education for six years. He started his career as a behavioral support specialist for one year at Jefferson Elementary School in Boise in 2014. In 2015, Goodrich moved to Hawthorn Elementary School as a special education teacher where he taught until 2017. Starting in 2017, Goodrich served as a special education teacher at Grace Jordan Elementary School in Boise.
Goodrich received a Bachelor’s in Geography from the University of Utah in 2008 and completed a Master’s in Special Education Teaching from American Military University in 2018. Goodrich also holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Boise State University, which he received in 2020.
“I am excited to be joining the South Hills Middle School team this year. Mr. Ellsworth and his team have built a fantastic school culture that prides itself on academic excellence and outstanding citizenship,” Goodrich said. “I am looking forward to playing my part in supporting our excellent teachers and getting to know our wonderful students. My goal this year is to assist our school in fostering a safe, productive, and fun learning environment that will prepare all of our students for future success in school and in the community.”
