The doc is now live on the RSMS YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RB5k6HmMu8. "It's a HUGE accomplishment for these kids -- it's by far the biggest, most complex project they've worked on. " Mr. Lemon

Wowzy! Raiden, Seth , and Lars entered the Rotary District 5400 Eco Film Contest. They were the only middle school team to enter the contest. They placed 2nd, beating out a number of high school productions. They won a $750 prize. They accomplished this while only having one week to write, shoot, edit, and publish the video. It's National Library Week and our librarian has a fun Book Tasting event planned. Students will sample 5-6 books in a 30-minute time frame and rate those books as well as answer questions about those books. When the 5 minute timer rings they will move to a new table to sample another new book in a different genre. So fun!

March Madness is over - and we're not talking about basketball! Sixth Grade teacher, Mrs. Hall, challenged her math class to see how many ALEKs topics they could complete during March. Shout out to Lincoln, (185 topics), Terrence (143 topics), Region (135 ), Jade (95 ), Adryan (75 ), Kristian (73 ), Aleena (61), Landen (58), Jazmin (58), and Evelyn (55). Wow! (For reference, we expect each student to complete 40 topics per quarter.)
