My greatest love and passion is for students and their learning-learning of subject matter and learning of life skills important not only to graduate, but also the learning of skills to be a successful member of society and a role model for those that follow in their footsteps. I have spent my entire life “teaching”. My love for teaching began in the basement of my childhood home. I was just 6. All of the neighborhood children received the best education a 6 year old could offer. From there, I lead and directed many church, after school, and summer camps for kids. I received my BA degree from Idaho State University and my Master’s of Literacy degree from NNU. I taught reading for four years at Jerome Middle School and then joined TFSD as a literacy intervention teacher and building intervention coordinator. The last several years have been full of learning and growing with the TFSD. I look forward to many more!

School counseling is an integral part of each school’s educational program supporting a base of academic success for each student. By design, it is developmental and focuses on milestones that follow sequentially as preschool children become young adults. Counseling programs contain sequential activities that are organized and implemented by certified school counselors, teachers, and administrators, in collaboration with students, parents/guardians, and members of the local community. Sheri Remming started her counseling career at Robert Stuart Junior High in 2002, moved to Northern Idaho for three years, then came back to the Twin Falls School District counseling at Lincoln Elementary, Xavier school, and in Burley at Cassia High School. For five years, Mrs. Remming worked in the Wendell School District at the elementary and middle schools. In 2017-2018 she started a new chapter back in the Twin Falls District and is very excited to be working at South Hills Middle School.
