School Board Meeting Safety Protocols

On November 14, 2020, an order set forth by Governor Brad Little limited the size of public and private gatherings to ten. To comply with this order, and the Open Meeting Law, the TFSD will allow additional participants beyond the ten but enact additional safety measures. It is the Board’s intention to allow anyone who wants to attend the ability to do so in a safe manner. As a result there are two options for attendance including in-person and virtually via Zoom. For those attending in person, the guidelines are:

TFSD #411 Board Meeting Guidelines:

  1. Face coverings that cover the mouth and nose shall be worn at all times by all in attendance.
  2. People who are in attendance shall sit three seats apart in order to maintain social distancing. The exception will be those who reside in the same household.

The second option is to attend utilizing Zoom:

If you wish to address the board, you may request to speak by submitting the Unscheduled Delegation Form (policy 4105) provided prior to the beginning of the meeting. If you wish to do this in person you must adhere to the requirements listed above. If you wish to speak utilizing Zoom, please contact Michelle Lucas at 208-733-6900 by Monday, December 14th at 4:00 p.m. Per Board Policy 4105, the comment period will not exceed one hour.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
